B.G. Released shortly

after his birthday

New Orleans Artist B.G., Christopher Dorsey, was released from prison after 11 years. B.G. was sentenced to 14 years in July of 2012. B.G. wrote on his IG a few days prior to being released, that it was his last birthday being buried alive. "After 12 winters and 13 summers, I see the end zone."

B.G. was a central part of Cash Money's rise as he signed at 12 years old in 1993 and had a platinum selling record, "Chopper City in the Ghetto" by 1999. He was a member of the "Hot Boyz" group, that consisted of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk and B.G. The "Hot Boyz" debut album, "Get it How You Live" debut in 1997.
