We got a chance to talk with Risin' Artist, Nini Da Godess. We touched on a few topics with our questions, to find out more. Can you let our readers know more about you, NiNi Da Godess, and what are some of your hobbies?

I am a mother of 5. I love to sing, write and dance. My hobbies are being a mother!

When did you first begin doing music?

As a child.

When did you realize, that music was more than something you loved to do and that it could be your profession?

When I used to get kicked out of school for rapping literally. Also, I was hit in 2015 by a motorcycle, so when God gave me a second chance, I knew I had to keep going. So I can tell my story!

You rap and sing. Which do you prefer or do you have a favorite?

I love to rap!

You were on American Idol. Can you tell our readers more about that experience and some of the opportunities that may have came from it?

Nothing came from it but I learned from it. I was young and didn’t know what happen behind close doors. It was great getting the opportunity and I cherished every moment, and it made me who I wanted to be today.

Let our readers know, what other opportunities you had to showcase your talent and what moments stood out to you, during that time?

I opened up for Juvenile the rapper. Also lil Scrappy. I did plenty of showcases from Michigan to Texas to Oklahoma. I’m very so much known. I’m also funny, so people latch on quick every time I step on the floor. I cherish the moments, and I'm able to look at how far I've come.

You have been doing a ton of shows. Performing. What is it like to get on the stage and do you still get a lil nervous before a show?

I feel Like, I’m the best and to be the best, I have to beat the best. No, I get excited also because I say here’s another door open, I have to lay my foot down.

What do you have going on in music currently, that you want the readers to know so they can support?

I am currently working on branding a new me. I have so much to look forward to with God's plans I have so many shows, you guys can look for a ep dropping soon.

How has Social Media helped you, in growing your fanbase and which ways do you most like to use Social Media to connect with your supporters?

It helped me a lot because I’m always posting and I'm always on facebook or IG or TikTok. I’m amazing to watch and listen to, I promise you will love it here.
