Loso Luciano has been making and performing music for quite some time. Perfecting his craft, he told us he has more music in his vault and is working on Music Videos. He has Music Videos that he did prior, on Youtube that you can also watch and listen to. The one below features Loso, along wit L.E.G.Z. Diamond and Aye Mack and has touched 10 thousand views currently. We spoke wit Loso and to help our readers know about him as an Artist, he answered a few questions for Us. Can You introduce yourself to our readers, and tell them something about you that many don’t know about you?
Time is very valuable…. that's one thing everyone wants but can’t replace!!! So, I thank you for taking your time and the opportunity as well!!
To introduce myself I Am Loso Luciano. Everyone calls me Los… something many wouldn’t know about me… I used to sing soprano in my church choir lol!!
How did you get into making Music and what were some of your inspirations?
I got into making music when some guys I grew up with noticed how much I love music and a mutual friend of ours had a studio set up in his dorm room at the valley and it went from there. Music itself inspired me!! From hearing my mother play her piano at church and the choir, to me actually wanting to be in it too cause I loved the sound the rhythm the tune. I got older; those tunes changed but still loved it.
Did you always think, or believe in yourself when it came to Music?
Did I always think or believe in myself, to be honest.... no. I never thought I was gone do it at all let alone believed I’d make my own. I just liked basically covering songs. Loved the melodies most times and if some one was speaking and it came off right on a beat I’d love that song just cause. Once I did make my first song… I started to think… maybe I could. Then I dropped nene’s interlude… then my first whole tape hit… “The Season”. I started believing in myself then with this music I can feed the fam. Still believe it!!
Tell our readers, what inspired your latest project and is there a special meaning behind the Name of the project “Docena De Rosa”?
What inspired my latest project was my trials with my emotions. Dealings with women, friends, family… Life. I’m so family oriented all about my family so a lot of my albums have been family-based names and I’m touching on things from problems with family but me still being here cause that’s just in me it’s how I was raised. I consider my friends and my women family so if I love you I hold those high. In my immediate family there’s 14 of us me being the youngest. We’ve lost 2 of our siblings my oldest brother who had Down syndrome and my eldest sister of the bunch. So “Docena De Rosas” in Spanish means “a dozen roses” which i use as a reference to my family. If you know me, my family is those I love, from blood siblings my women and my friends. I consider them all one… family I can’t stress that enough!! This whole project tells my love for and my emotions that I hate bein in lol but I had to let em out. The dozen roses is a reference to the 12 remaining siblings living.. a rose for each of us.
You put a lot of thought into your music, from Cover work to Songs, Beat selection n Verses etc... in a time, where it doesn’t seem like a lot Artist do that or even want to do that? Why?
It’s my craft… my art… it’s what I do!! I can do all the off the top of the head music… can do the, say something punch me In style but it’s something about painting a picture that if they listen foreal, it’s so easy to envision. I can’t draw but I like for my words to paint pictures or put a movie in your head. See what I see. That’s why I do it
Tell us something in your latest project, that Listeners may not catch or that you wished that they catch in your verses? It can be a song or verse itself.
My melodies!! lol I ain’t never really got on tracks like Docena de Rosas or truthfully like that. Fool… that song is one of my favorites fasho fasho too. True stories lol truthfully, I actually wrote about someone I was dealing with…. Still got ya boy too lol but I’m locked in on growing all around for self and my lil ones so I can’t get lost in that for now.
Where do you see yourself as an Artist, currently and for the Future??
As an artist, I see myself seasoned in a lil more now. Wayyy more confident than I was before… more strategic as well. Gettin' better every day. For the future, I got so much more heat in store and more business ventures I’m planning on starting soon. A clothing collab hopefully with my brotha and his brand Neighborhood Nobodyz. I love sports as well if you know me you know I get down hoopin. I want to open a gym of my own but until then I want to try and get a men's pro am league goin and a high school one as well, for our upcoming youth in my city like I grew up on.
What do you feel you have to do, to get where you want to go in music as an Artist?
To get where I want to go with this music as an artist, I have to turn my drive up. I have to put myself on the scene more. Network, connect more be more consistent and get these visuals dropped. I got something im ready to give the world… keepin the music and its culture hear rolling!!
For your projects, how long on average, does it take you to go from a thought or concept to the finished project n release?
It doesn’t take me long at all. I can create all that in a week tops. Couple days to get songs and cover arts and all that worked out it’ll take no time but for me to be confident in it…. I will wait a year plus. When I first started, I was just dropping, dropping, dropping music. Projects longer and longer I mean 18 track tapes and most of them no features at all. Wasn’t giving none of them the attention some of those really deserved I feel, and it’s just gone away now. I’m not letting that type of energy out with my product anymore; my projects are me! I'm selling myself, when I’m letting my projects out that’s my product, so I take my time now. This whole year is kinda planned and has been since 2022. Songs in this album are bout 2 years old now and I'm just releasing them.
Is there anything that we may have left out, that you want the readers to know about you and your Music?
